I was proud to close this year’s Christmas concert, “Feliz Navi Duh,” with a high-energy performance of the festive classic “Merry Christmas Everybody” by 1970s rock band Slade. The performance marked the finale of an exciting evening celebrating live music and student performance at North Kent College.
The concert featured a wide range of festive songs performed by the Music Performance Level 3 students, showcasing strong musicianship, stage presence, and a shared passion for live performance. Jenna’s electric guitar performance brought the night to a powerful close, capturing the spirit of the season and the energy of a live Christmas gig.
Events like “Feliz Navi Duh” highlight the creativity and talent emerging from North Kent College’s Music Performance course, while giving developing artists the opportunity to perform in front of a live audience.
